Roughly 1.5 million veterans live in Texas — the third-largest veteran population in the country — with Fort Hood, Joint Base San Antonio, Fort Bliss, NAS Corpus Christi, Goodfellow AFB, and Sheppard AFB driving extensive military truck operations.
Free transport runs the full state — Houston, the DFW Metroplex, San Antonio, Austin, El Paso, Corpus Christi, the Valley, the Panhandle, East Texas, the Hill Country, and West Texas. Heavy oilfield trucks, ranch trucks, work trucks, dump trucks, and commercial units of any size accepted. Cars, motorcycles, boats, RVs, and ranch trucks from Texas donors are also accepted.
Texas title transfers use the VTR-346 vehicle transfer notification filed within 30 days. Federal deduction is the auction sale price; Texas has no state income tax. Donating a business or commercial truck works differently for tax purposes — depreciation can reduce your deduction, so it's worth reviewing before you donate.
