Truck Donations to Salute Veterans Inc., a Veteran-Founded 501(c)(3)
TruckDonations.org is run by Salute Veterans Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit operated by Salute Veterans Inc.. We work with donors across the country — owner-operators retiring a rig, contractors clearing out a work truck, fleet managers downsizing, families handling an inherited vehicle. We also accept cars, motorcycles, boats, and RVs. Whatever the vehicle, the proceeds go toward veteran employment programs, transition support, and the free resources we run for the veteran community.
The military teaches a lot — discipline, problem-solving under pressure, leadership, technical skill. What it can't teach in advance is how complicated the civilian system is the moment you step out of uniform. Employment, healthcare, housing, benefits, education — every category has its own application, its own qualifying criteria, its own waitlist. Veterans who served honorably can spend years figuring out what they're entitled to, when help was sitting in plain sight the whole time. The work our donations support is built to shorten that gap.
Once your truck sells at auction, the net proceeds — after costs like towing, transport, and auction fees — flow to Salute Veterans Inc. From there, we put those funds to work on veteran employment initiatives, transition support, and VeteransDirectory.org, our free public directory of nearly 2,000 veteran resources. The directory covers housing, mental health, legal aid, jobs, education, and more. Veterans search it daily and never hit a paywall. The truck you no longer need helps keep it that way.
