Truck Donations in Alabama

Alabama runs heavy on trucks — pickup trucks dominate the Black Belt, the Wiregrass, and the Tennessee Valley, and commercial trucking moves auto parts to Mercedes, Honda, and Hyundai plants, timber out of the Pine Belt, and freight along the I-65, I-20, and I-10 corridors. The state supports roughly 360,000 U.S. veterans, with Redstone Arsenal, Maxwell-Gunter, and Fort Rucker anchoring the major military trucking demand.

Free transport runs statewide for trucks of nearly any size — half-ton, three-quarter-ton, and one-ton pickups, work trucks, diesels, dump trucks, flatbeds, and box trucks. Heavy-duty units may move on a rollback or lowboy rather than a standard wheel-lift. Cars, motorcycles, boats, and RVs from Alabama donors are also accepted.

Alabama title transfers process through the county license commissioner or judge of probate. Federal deduction is the auction sale price (IRS Pub 4303). Net proceeds support Salute Veterans Inc., a 501(c)(3). Call 1-888-324-2772 to dispatch transport.
